The rest of Saturday passed quietly. Horace ventured out of the library once more, and he and I spent an enjoyable evening watching a movie.
I intend to let Horace out of the library for much of the time that I am home. There has been warning sounds from both Neville and Hector toward the newcomer, but nothing very threatening and all quite normal. Horace respects the others’ need for distance, though he has become more curious about them. Even so, I feel confident about letting him roam while I am engaged in activities elsewhere in the home, as I wrote yesterday, while he is confident enough now to settle down for a snooze on the kitchen floor or a chair at the dining table.
He sure is happy to be there with you!
ReplyDeleteThat's great. How nice that you two got to watch the movie together!
ReplyDeleteSounds and looks like he's been there forever...
ReplyDeleteBless him..!x
It looked like an enjoyable evening for you both.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly picked the right movie for Horace to watch. As I can see he was completely captivated with your legs and the movie.
ReplyDeleteI swear, he is ready for some love and a family. He has that now though. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat did Horace think of the movie? Thumbs up or down?
ReplyDeleteHe slept through most of it, so, for a cat, that's probably a recommendation.
DeleteHorace seems to be a polite kitty! He knows when o stay out of reach/range, and not cause trouble:)
