I've had a number of them too, mostly inflicted when trying to get a cat into the carrier. 😁 I learned to put it thick gloves on with Nicki and even wear something high-necked or not wind a winter scarf around much neck. It is never a was deliberate on his part, Justin history attempts to escape my grasp.
I have some permanent reminders acquired over the years,none maliciously inflicted though. One from Flynn when something frightened him, the rest from the semi feral black brothers.
I have enough punctures to let all my air out from hasty launches from my lap...amd crossing and re-crossing my lap while sitting. I have some fancy scratches too.
Enough cats in your menagerie (civilized of course) to wonder which
