Open All Night

It’s been a long time since Horace came to dine at Café Cosy. To be honest, it may not be Horace; it may be a friend or relative. But a lone skunk shows up around the apartment building from time to time, and I think it’s the same one. I hope so. I like to think that the menu and atmosphere - and the 24-hour service - at Café Cosy has an appeal that keeps patrons coming back.

(You’ll note Sable in the background by the corner of the fence, waiting for an available table…)

  1. It is very fortunate that Sable knows to keep socially-distanced from this particular guest.

  2. It seems that word has gotten around that Cafe Cosy accepts any and all patrons.

  4. Yes indeed. I imagine the reviews on the Cafe Cozy Review are a 4 Star mass. The Cafe Cozy is known far and wide for its excellence and atmosphere. Romantic tables outdoors under the moon or a sunny day. The Critic is there I see...sampling as always for his column in the Cafe Press. Dressed formally as always. I think he is a Butler as well in his second job.

  5. I have a black and white visitor too. In the summer he passes thru our backyard and I have to close windows because the smell is so bad that I can't sleep. We think he's living under our back deck. Once we are sure everyone is out we will be blocking it off.

  6. My sister has skunks who decided to raise their family under her shed...every time se blocks it off, they just dig under to get back in...clever little rascals! She has no food out, or bird seeds...these 'guests' used to be at her neighbor...She lives in an urban area, so we think they are getting into people's trash...

I think she needs a professional to help rehome those furry bandits!

Sable is smart to wait her turn...hopefully there will be enough left for her to feast on.

  7. Sable is wise to wait her turn. I hope Horace doesn't keep her waiting too long.

  8. Very fortunate Sable is not of the canine persuasion or the Cosy Cafe would have a very distinct odor and not of tuna or chicken.

  10. You have a varied clientele at the Café Cosy, and it appears the menu appeals to all of them!

  11. Smart of Sable not to get to close to Horace or Horace look-alike.
