No, not the cats’ fault; just shoddy construction and entropy.
Dang! I would never have thought that could happen! Thank heavens no one was hurt.
You should use books to build a book shelf for the rest.
😲I'm certainly glad it didn't fall on anyone!
Whoopsie! I bet that caused some bottle brushed tails! Hope no kitties were near that when it collapsed!
guyz....nothin iz made like it waz bak in de day...de gurl can punchez a nail in her wall usin a table knife ~~~~
Too true, Mackerull: even the 1980s produced better merchandise (witness my micro-wave oven: built like a tank and still going).
Oops...Talk about a Big Bang!! But the important thing is that no one, (human nor cat), was hurt.
I suppose you could make a feature of it? Or cut it in half and salvage some use. Or just buy and old, well made wood bookcase. Erin
I would love to buy an old one, but they cost a fortune these days; even the cheaply-made ones aren't cheaply-bought now.
Most modern bookcases are particle board junk and they do fall apart. When my brother was alive, he built bookcases for people, I was thankful to get one and Grandma has two more she has told me I may have someday.
Yikes. It looks like the aftermath of an earthquake. (I'm sure it must have felt like one at the time...)
