Hector left for his trial-adoption this morning. I am apprehensive about this one; not due to the home, which appears a very good one for the little Turk. I am not even worried that the resident cat and Hector won’t get along. He needs more than tolerance, however; he needs a playmate. Much will depend on the cat’s reaction to the newcomer. It will be the difference between Hec’s mere contentment in his new home, and happiness.
Bon voyage, my friend.
We send purrasyers and Power of the Paw to Hector for a happy landing !

ReplyDeleteI hope he and his new cat sibling will get along as happily as he did with Miss Z. It's a blessing that if things don't work out, he has a wonderful home he can return to.

ReplyDeleteBest to you Hector. We miss you already.
ReplyDeleteSaku is sending purrs that this will be a purrfect fit for Hector. Perhaps, his boyish nature will rub off on the older kitty. I do hope it works out for all involved.
