Missing Her Chum

Zofia is doing all right without Hector, though I know she was missing him Sunday evening. She periodically walked about the apartment, talking in a voice louder than usual; she then looked about. She did this several times. Now, little Miss Zed is spending more time with me. I’m a poor substitute for her playmate but I try to let her know that she is not forgotten.

  1. Poor little girl. It must be confusing for her, having her buddy disappear.

  2. Oh, Zophia, I do hope you have another kitty playmate soon. You look so sad under the covers.

  3. Zofia, I feel so badly for you. Your Dad is trying to help and make up for not having Hector to play and snuggle with.

  4. She certainly must wonder where her playmate went. Why Hector has not returned from private time in the litter box, or checking out the library on his own.

  6. It must be confusing to her not truly understanding. But, I know how resilient cats are and I'm sure she'll be back to her normal bouncy self and maybe soon have a new playmate???

  7. Awww, she must feel betrayed that her good furend has abandoned her...hopefully she will adjust and find a playmate in one of the others, Maybe a new admission to the Cozy Apartment?
But in the meantime, you are the one to fill in, and you are doing a great job:)

  11. Poor Zofia, first Horace and then Hector. It is a pity we can't explain to them what is happening. I am sure there will soon be another addition, hopefully young.
