Just a month ago, I wrote an entry describing how Zofia liked to sleep under the staircase by the bed. Yesterday evening, I walked into the sitting room and noticed the smaller staircase, leading to the ottoman and couch, had been moved. When I tried to replace it, I felt something underneath it. Apparently, the principal is smaller cat, big stairs - bigger cat, small stairs.
Imogen is still discovering her places in the Cosy Apartment.
As I just discovered Chili Bruce sleeping inside the coat closet, Imogen's choice under the steps just dovetails into our human thinking of cats fondness for sleeping in weird places!

ReplyDeleteAfter Maxwell and Macy came inside to live we'd often find them under the pet stairs, it was their safe space for a while.

ReplyDeleteShe must think that your place has all those little cave like places just for her. She likely feels secure in them...as in I am now invisible so I can sleep or watch the Cozy Apartment activity in secret.
