No Worries

One of the delights of having a cat is seeing when he is at ease with his environment, when he knows he is safe. That’s when he can relax and lie in the most comfortable - and sometimes the most ridiculous - positions. No cat, no animal, will lie in a position that he cannot defend or escape from quickly unless he feels secure.

I am fortunate in that all of those in the Cosy Apartment feel that way. It took a while for Brazil to achieve that state, but I think he is there. Some day, I hope he will go to his own permanent home, perhaps with one of his chums from here. I am repeatedly promoting Shimmer with another - whether Chiff or Aurora - in the various ways our rescue-group has. To be honest, I doubt that a double adoption will result.

In the meantime, however, Brazil has decided that he rather likes the various locations he’s found in his foster-home. He curls up, or stretches, or lolls about. And he doesn’t appear to worry about much at all.
