The three unfixed Tempos head to the hospital tomorrow to be neutered. Three cone-heads stumbling around the Cosy Cabin; that ought to be fun. In truth, though, Presto had to wear his cone for so long because of his eye, and not his neutering. I don’t think Allegro, Andante and Largo will need to wear theirs for even half as long.
This should be the end of their veterinary concerns for a long time. Their weights are as follows:
Presto 3.31 kg (7.3 lb)
Allegro 4.23 kg (9.33 lb)
Andante 3.83 kg (8.47 lb)
Largo 4.17 kg (9.2 lb)
They are big, strong and healthy, active and energetic. Give them a day (or half a day) to recover from their surgeries, and they’ll be playing like never before.
Giant kittens, anyone?

I can't believe how much those guys weigh!!!!! Seems like they were just born! Two nine pounders and one within an ounce and a tad of being the third none pounder!!! Those guys are eatin' their Wheaties!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to take all of them. They are absolutely gorgeous. Good luck at the vet tomorrow, Guys!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, they ARE big boys! I hope all goes well tomorrow. Have fun with the fasting. Ha.
ReplyDeleteIt seems Presto is the smallest. Taking in 3 at one time, hope that goes without a hitch. And the cones do get to come off quickly. They will have a time bouncing into each other with them on.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty amazing to think of little Rhapsody being the mom of all these Incredible Hulks...best wishes for the neutering!
ReplyDeleteThey are big boys. I hope all goes well.
ReplyDeleteWas looking at their weights, and thinking, 'whoa, giants'!
ReplyDeleteThe Cosy Cabin may never be the same again...
Allegedly, a kitten should weight a pound for every month of their age, for half a year or so. A couple of my five month olds are twice their recommended weight. But they aren't fat or short: they have the bodies to carry that weight well.
DeleteYou and their mama have raised some strapping youths!
