Sunny Whiskers

I saw Parker playing with a milk-jug top-ring on Saturday (he likes other toys but seems to find those which cost me money less appealing than the free ones). He stopped in a sunbeam, and the light illumined his whiskers.

He has a fine set of whiskers. They are not as long or as luxurious as Renn’s but they are a good collection, nonetheless. In the sunshine, they make him look a bit like a walrus. But in any case, I think his sunny whiskers suit him very well.

  1. Walrus--ha! He might be offended. But yes those whiskers do make him look rather walrus-like, particularly in the second photo. :-)

  3. "Sunny Whiskers" would be a great name for any yellow/orange cat. I'll have to remember that.

  4. What great pictures of Parker. You're quite correct about his choice of toys. It seems we spend a fortune for toys for our cats, and they would rather play with the box!

  5. That is a very good set of whiskers, and I have to agree that the sun does make them look rather walrus like.

    1. Yes, slowly the sun is moving back to shine into the apartment again. The cats are discovering beams all over.

  9. Parker! You're glowing! Is there some special power in those luminous whiskers?

  10. I love his whiskers! I don't any of my three have whiskers of such a great length...but then I guess I have not paid much attention.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

  11. What a fine set of whiskers he has. With such whiskers Parker must have extra-sensory powers.
