Yesterday was indeed an easy Sunday - for the cats. For some reason, my Sundays are busy; there is always plenty to do. But I had time to take photographic proof that the beasts don’t share my work ethic. Behold, the reasons I work so much.
Everyone looks so relaxed. But still you shouldn't have to do all the work, John. Have you thought about getting the cats jobs? Maybe they could find work as "Rodent Control Specialists". After all, someone must have a mouse they could catch! :-)
"Behold, the reasons I work so much" LOL! Worth every second of blood, sweat and tears...sometimes a lot of tears, 'cause I'm not at home with my family!
Ah, to be a cat in another life...though I'd want to one of the lucky ones with a terrific home like yours. They are so obviously at ease, without a care in the world. I think you can take that an indication of their gratitude.
When I’m out doing a bit of window shopping, I frequently see mugs or little decorative signs that say “ I work hard so my cat can have a better life”. True, so very true. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
I'll echo Eileen's comment about this being an indication of their gratitude. Or perhaps, being cats, it's their expectation to have a life of ease, while their human works for them, even on Sundays. :-)

They are definitely enjoying the fruits of your labor. Us cat owners make good slaves. Teehee.
