I Have Three Cats: The Watcher

I was putting towels away in a cupboard, and apparently my activities were of some interest to a cat who had been reclining on some boxes in the hall…

JEROME!

Jerome! This big, all-grey mancat is now ten years old, but that doesn’t mean he’s slowing down. He’s an active fellow, going up and down stairs, playing with toys and carrying cat-beds. Yes, carrying cat-beds, all over the house, and letting you know when he’s doing it. Here he comes now, taking his stick-toy down to the basement. He loves his people; he’ll tell them by flopping on their feet. And he’ll tell them it’s time for dinner by walking back and forth in front of them. But at the end of the day, he’ll stretch out on a lap or nestle beside his person on the bed. Jerome might be at his best as an only-cat, but he’s learned that other felines can be fun, too. He enjoys games and play, but will let others know when he’s had enough. But there’s nothing harmful or hurtful about Jerome; he’s too nice a cat for that.
