The Sun in the Morning

It’s taken a while, it seems, this year, but the sun is at last returning to the Cosy Cabin. The front window of the sitting room faces due east, and when the sky is clear, spring and summer mornings are light and bright. This is greatly enjoyed by the sun-cats here (even though the second picture makes it look like a crime-scene awaiting the arrival of the police.)

The next meteorological event is the opening of the windows…

  1. Huh? My comment disappeared before I finished it.
It is good to seen the sun come back again and the beasts enjoying it.
We are getting sunny periods, but I wish the strong and cold northerly wind would disappear and allow our normal and warmer southwesterlies come back.

  2. It's been sunny here in California for some time. For me, the next meteorological events are the mosquitoes. 😱

    1. We haven't been troubled by mosquitoes much in the last two years; dry conditions, I guess.

  3. Sunshine! Glad to see your kitties have some, as we have for a few days. Precious isn't as interested in it as she should be. I am!

  4. Yes, the second photo does look like a crime-scene, but the cats are enjoying their sun-puddle and that's the important thing.

  7. Here we are going through a cold snap yesterday through the next several days. Then, likely it will be like H-E-double hockey sticks hot!
