Renn
is feeling normal once again. He was better Friday evening, after I returned
from work, and even ate a small amount of soft food at dinner-time. By Saturday
morning, there was no sign that he had been under the weather. I think it may
indeed have been a reaction to the flavour of food he was served. Though it had
never troubled him before, I won’t take the chance that it is a permanent
change; my big boy will not be receiving that variety again.
Saturday
night was bath-night, and Renn was once more excited about the weekly event,
demonstrating that all was well with him. I thank all those who expressed
concern over his health and wished him well. Everyone reading this knows the
worry a human suffers when a pet is inexplicably sick, and the relief felt when
he recovers. Now, it’s back to living with Renn and the others as they are when
they are normal…
Great news; we hope Renn (and everyone else) remains healthy for a long time to come now. Enjoy your Sunday! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat great news to hear that Renn is back to his "old self". The nice thing about reading your blog, John, is that we all feel the same way - that our cats are part of our family and not just animals.
ReplyDeleteRenn we are so happy you are back to feeling your normal kitty self!
ReplyDeleteRenn, I am SO happy for you and a whole lot for your Dad. There IS nothing worse than worry over a fur baby who is sick and no explainable reason as to why. We pawrents go to any extreme we can think of to make things better.
ReplyDeleteWonderful news! Answered prayers.
ReplyDeleteWe are all very relieved but probably not more than Renn himself who is unable to tell us why he was poorly.
Hope you and he and all the kitties have a relaxing ,stress free day.
Today was quite relaxing, thanks. Hopefully your weekend was a good one, too.
DeleteThat is very good news. The photo of Renn is so cute!
ReplyDeleteVery happy that Renn feels better.
ReplyDeleteWonderful news! Well-done Renn.
ReplyDeleteBath night? For you John or the cats? Or does Renn like to visit you while you relax in the tub?
Renn has, for some years now, become quite excited at the prospect of me having a bath. From this statement, one might assume that he celebrates cleanliness at last catching up to me but in fact I have showers most nights, baths on Saturdays. Renn loves it when the tubfills, and sometimes he stays while I bathe. I have no idea why he likes them; showers have no interest for him.
DeleteHoo-Ray! So glad he is alright
ReplyDeleteSo glad that Renn came around and is feeling better!
