And on the subject of Sable, readers may have noticed her tail. I think it was broken at some point. It is never raised - which doesn’t mean a physical impairment; after all, Neville’s is working unimpeded but it is never up. Even so, it is almost always in a lowered, crooked posture, and I have never seen it moving. I would not be surprised if she had caught it somewhere, or it had been struck by a strong force at some point.
Damaged ears, damaged tail; the life of an outsider cat leaves its scars.
Good thing she's safe indoors with you now, where hopefully nothing else will be damaged!
ReplyDeleteAnd now thankfully she is safe indoors. Seney never raised her long and extra fluffy tail. I always figured it was too heavy, lol. As long as Sable is getting comfortable inside, waving a flag is not necessary.
ReplyDeleteewe still bee gorgeouz sable....☺☺♥♥
ReplyDeletePoor Sable, what she must have seen in her life. I once knew a former long-time street cat who finally got a home. His tail was bent in exactly the same way, but, of course, there was no way of knowing what had happened.
ReplyDeleteAfter living as an outside cat for so long, I'm very happy that Sable is now an indoor cat where she will be well cared for and loved.
ReplyDeleteYou're in the right place now, Sable.
