While Millie is recovering very well from her dental surgery - her main complaint is that she can’t eat hard-food yet (oh, and I have three more days of pain medicine to give her, which she also dislikes) - the other beasts continue with their adventures.
During play-time, Imogen will often run and hide behind the bathroom door. I will then swing the string-toy or streamer under the door for her to grapple with. Moxy watched this happen numerous times, and it must have looked like fun. When Imo was elsewhere, he hurried behind the door and waited for the toys to come to him. He enjoyed himself.
This is an example of why I always advise people to adopt two cats. They learn from each other. Sometimes what they learn isn’t even destructive.
I'm glad that in this instance it was something enjoyable for all. The boys learned to hate the camera from Annie. Derry learned a lot from Nicki too, but I'm not sure those were fun things...for me, at least. π
ReplyDeleteI'm also glad that Millie continues to recover well!
Yupper! You right. Looking back I wish I had adopted two.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the patient is on the mend!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that Millie is recovering from her surgery. Get well soon, Millie. As for Imogen and Moxie...How cute. I agree with you - adopting two cats is a good idea. And keep in mind that caring for two cats really is not much more work than caring for one.
ReplyDeleteThey can keep each other entertained a lot with playing. It's smart to always have a limit, though, to how many you will take in. None of us want to have to make such a cat.
ReplyDeleteI am glad Millie is recovering well. It is lovely to see Moxey learning a new game from Imogen.
ReplyDeleteGreat news about Millie recovering even though she has to take pain medicine. And the play time, that's just great. Precious always used to want us to play through the hinges of a half closed door. Let me tell you after a while back is kind of hard on a person.
ReplyDelete"Sometimes."π
ReplyDeleteMillie, you'll have what you want in a few short days; you won't even remember having to wait!
ReplyDeleteGiving medicine to animals can be hard, I hope it's not to much of fuss when you are giving it to her
ReplyDeleteIt's liquid, which I find much easier to give than pills.
