Half the time I would like to know what goes through a cat’s mind; the other half, I want no part of knowing.
Largo has taken sometimes to lying on the bathroom floor, staring at the bathtub. He doesn’t stare into it, but at it; at the side. He doesn’t move during these episodes. He just stares. The side isn’t reflective enough to show him an image. There is no movement, and he himself doesn’t act as though he were following something he can see. He simply lies on the floor and contemplates the tub.
Half the time I would like to know what goes through a cat’s mind; the other half, I want no part of knowing. I think this is an instance of the latter…

Who knows what lurks in the minds of cats...
ReplyDeleteThat is funny!! Maybe he needs the 'blank screen' to meditate.
ReplyDeleteA true scholar at work, needs a peaceful place to contemplate.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is unusual interest in a very inanimate object. Check his Diary. There are likely references in it as to the changes that he is able to see and we hope, document.
ReplyDeleteHaha. Maybe Largo has super vision skills to see thru objects!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I don't think I want to know either!
ReplyDeleteI got nothin', except maybe you should get an exorcist for your bathtub.
ReplyDeleteLargo, that's bizarre!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it filters and echoes sound & ambient sound in a certain way...
ReplyDeleteIf so, it's not his sound; he wasn't making any in there.
DeleteAnd there is always the added element of suspecting that they see things we cannot. Or that they are just doing it to be annoying.
