Though
none of my cats is a friend to another, they do tolerate each other.
Sometimes, when I see them in certain situations, I can pretend that they are
pals. Josie and Renn enjoy sleeping on the bed, and quite often they will
snooze there at the same time, which may be construed as snoozing together. At
such times, my Chubs, who dislikes the proximity of other felines, won’t mind the
big boy actually touching her, even overlapping her; she would, however, never
allow it under other conditions.
In a
world in which there is too much hostility, a little tolerance – no matter how
little – is most welcome.
That’s such a sweet picture in these awful times.
ReplyDeleteTolerance is only one of the many things animals could teach us if we would only listen and observe.
ReplyDeleteHeHe! Are you sure their not telling
ReplyDeleteyou John..who the bed actually belongs
to..! Bless! :)
I know who the bed belongs to. Sigh...
DeleteYes. Here as well. They take up all the room even when it is one cat. AND while they do THAT, they are on you as well. It's magic.
DeleteToo much bird watching? It is a lovely peaceful sight
ReplyDeleteof 2 kitties tolerating each other in a comfy spot.
Enjoy your peaceful home.
I was going to write a comment very similar to Roberta's. At least there is some to be found in your home.
ReplyDeleteThose sweet moments are very special!
ReplyDeleteAwww...they look so sweet together. Much like my Sasha and Saku, there are moments.
ReplyDeleteThey are very close. There appears to be a good amount of tolerance.
ReplyDeleteButt to butt! Wow!
