Her Education

I can’t view this development without trepidation. Not only has Indigo learned what ‘dinner’ and ‘snack’ mean, but she’s begun waiting at the threshold of the library and complaining that their service is too slow.

  1. They pick up on food deliveries VERY quickly.

I shudder to think what they'd do with a DoorDash account.

    1. In cat-rescue, a door-dash has a different meaning, and we don't want any cat to have one of those accounts!

    2. I hadn't even thought of that! I've never heard the phrase used before in connection with cat behavior, but it makes sense.

  2. What! You are at home and not at her beck and call! No wonder Indigo is giving you the evil eye as you take her lovely photo.

  3. HA! That's a sweet way to request faster service.

  4. Heh heh heh. Good for her! It's great to know she's finally comfortable enough to understand that humans are there to serve their cat masters/mistresses.

  6. Not only is Indigo a fast learner, but it seems that she was able to have you well trained in no time!

  8. Well let me just say, when it comes to dinner and snack, whatever it takes!

  9. I always felt sorry for my cats. I can get up and snack and eat wherever I fancy, and they always had to wait for me.

  10. Is Indigo in touch with the two felines in this blog - https://movingwithmitchell.com/ who push their treat times?

  11. Indigo, your Dad there ought to be proud of you! What intelligence. The others are content (or more so) to wait, but you...you have the get-up-and-go to get it done!
