Zofia will be going on a trial-adoption this Friday.
Little Miss Zed has received a number of inquiries during her time in the Cosy Apartment but few of them were right for her. This one looks very promising. She will be going to a professional couple, young, with an active five year old cat. The resident feline has had a playmate before and would benefit from another, as would Zo. One of the humans works from home, so will be present to give attention to Zofia and watch over her early days in the new home.
She will be frightened, of course, and lonely, at first. She has started to form a strong relationship with me since Hector left. But she will get over that loss quickly; kittens are adept at that, thank goodness. She will have a whole house in which to run and climb and jump. Her curiosity will take a long time to be sated.
I will miss her. She provides the entertainment that only a kitten can provide. However, this is an excellent opportunity for her and, like Hector and Horace before her, she will make the most of it. But I will miss her.
Oh, that's great news. Hopefully Zofia's trial adoption will work out and she'll have a "furever" home. I understand just how you feel, John. I'll miss hearing about her escapades. Please let us know how things go.

How wonderful for Miss Z to have this opportunity with a home that has an active and lonely cat. Miss Z will have the same fun, we certainly hope, as Hector has found with his new playmate.

I'll miss seeing her grow up, too. But it would be so great if she and this other cat became pals. I know she loves you, but having a cat best buddy again be wonderful. Fingers crossed that she's happy in her new home!
