Attempting to Converse

Neville was hungry, and it was still an hour until dinner-time. I tried to explain this to him. It is very difficult for one to have a serious conversation with somebody who is sticking a little blep out at one.

  1. The blep is one of a cat’s most potent weapons.

  2. Is Neville giving a review about the service at the Cosy Apartment? It seems that everyone's a critic!

  5. He knows how to get your attention for sure. The real question is whether you fed him early for his efforts.

    1. Not this time. He eats too well when I feed him on time for me to vary the routine.

  6. Yup. Everyone's a critic, and everyone has a better idea how to run things. He wants to know how to encourage you to get a clue about meal times. Those are ANY time demanded. Not by the clock.

    1. Neville the Hungry is a victim of his own good eating. He doesn't pick at his food or ignore it at meal-times, so I feed him regularly; others, I need to feed whenever the opportunity strikes. Sorry, Neville, maybe when you are older and fussier...
